Gerhard Williams IV serves as an operational backbone of FTP, handling IT, lobbying compliance, events, hiring & onboarding support, vendor & contract management, day-to-day operations for pro bono non-profits, and supporting partners across executive administration.
Gerhard is a manager on FTP’s operations team, where he oversees executive support, IT infrastructure, lobbying compliance, event management, and nonprofit administration for the firm. He joined the firm as an operations assistant, and now in his current role, Gerhard has built a comprehensive understanding of the firm from the ground up. Known internally as the “Fixer of Everything,” he brings a solutions-oriented approach to challenges ranging from technical troubleshooting to compliance workflows and new operational systems.
Before joining FTP, Gerhard completed a year of teaching service through AmeriCorps at Ballou High School in Southeast DC, gained hands-on experience in political campaign organizing, and worked in healthcare operations.
