Chris Billeter is an executive vice president and head of digital strategy and insights. A seasoned digital communications and public affairs practitioner, he has spent more than 15 years in Washington, D.C., helping organizations navigate the intersection of politics, policy, communications, and technology.
Throughout his career, Chris has worked at agencies large and small, within membership organizations, and on political campaigns. His clients have included major corporations, trade associations representing some of the country’s most consequential industries, congressional candidates, and nonprofit organizations advocating for whales and penguins.
Before joining FTP, Chris was a Senior Vice President in Burson’s Corporate and Public Affairs and Digital practices. He has also led digital teams at the Biotechnology Innovation Organization, DCI Group, Seven Letter, and the National Republican Congressional Committee.
Chris graduated from American University with a double major in Political Science and Communications, Legal Institutions, Economics, and Government (CLEG). He lives in Arlington with his girlfriend and their dog, Hazel.
Michael is a director on FTP’s digital advocacy team. He manages client relationships for web and digital projects, establishing project timelines, managing budgets, and mitigating risk. He coordinates across public affairs, digital, creative, and account teams to align projects and campaigns, and oversees external developers aligning them with internal teams and standards.
Before joining FTP, Michael spent over two years at Streetsense, an agency where he built and managed web products across all stages of development working closely with SEO, UX/UI, and development teams. Earlier in his career, Michael worked at the Population Reference Bureau, where he led interactive and data-driven digital experiences.
Throughout his career, he has worked closely with cross-functional teams to deliver digital products that meet client and organizational objectives.
Anthony is a senior designer on FTP’s creative team, where he leads and executes design across the firm’s sectors. He specializes in translating complex ideas into clear, compelling visual solutions that support strategic communications and integrated public affairs campaigns.
In his role, Anthony develops intentional creative for campaigns and coalitions spanning healthcare, transportation and infrastructure, education and workforce, and other emerging public affairs issues. He is passionate about blending refined aesthetics with meaningful impact, ensuring that design not only captures attention but also resonates with diverse audiences and advances clients’ strategic goals.
Prior to joining FTP, Anthony spent seven years working across agency and in‑house environments with a focus on digital media and branding. His experience includes art directing global sustainability campaigns for Microsoft, developing high‑performing social content for Nike Basketball, evolving the visual identity of The Barbara Bush Foundation for Family Literacy, and creating brand systems for Compass real estate agents in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area.
Erin is a designer and art director on FTP’s creative team, specializing in visual communication. With a passion for storytelling, he has over 15 years of experience in brand design and development, creative direction, strategic communication, and political strategy.
From 2016 to 2025, Erin was a senior designer at Stand Together, the Charles Koch-backed group of business leaders, philanthropists, community organizations, and political activists. There he led the brand relaunch of Americans for Prosperity, Concerned Veterans for America, and several venture capital firms.
Before joining Stand Together, Erin was a design strategist at Throughline, Inc., a Washington, D.C.-based creative agency, where he supported clients at Deloitte and the U.S. Postal Service. He also previously served as the design director at the U.S. House Republican Conference under Chairwoman Cathy McMorris Rodgers (R-WA). In that role, Erin led design for the National Defense Authorization Act, the Republican Response to the State of the Union, the House Republican Budget, major media events, and scores of other legislative efforts.
Ethan Hicks is a junior visual designer on FTP’s creative team, where he helps bring complex public affairs campaigns to life through thoughtful, modern creative. He builds cohesive visual systems across social, web, and paid media, combining a strong eye for typography, color, and layout with a practical understanding of how design performs in fast-paced advocacy and communications environments.
At FTP, Ethan has steadily expanded his role from executional production work to contributing to end-to-end creative concepts, collaborating closely with strategists and account teams to translate policy goals into clear, engaging visuals. He is especially passionate about pushing design trends forward in ways that feel accessible and strategic — testing new formats, motion, and visual languages that still support client objectives.
Before joining FTP, Ethan refined his craft by producing digital ads and branding campaigns for several advertising and press agencies in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area, deepening his experience with cross-channel storytelling and brand consistency. Outside of work, he channels his creativity into writing music, exploring the city on foot, and experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen.
Natalie is a senior director in the public affairs practice where she helps clients build and execute integrated public affairs strategies that connect policy, communications, and advocacy. Her work spans campaign management, audience strategy, coalition management, stakeholder coordination, and event planning, with a focus on helping clients reach policymakers and influential Beltway audiences through coordinated, high-impact programs.
At FTP, Natalie works across teams to design and manage initiatives that pair an audience-first strategy with advocacy efforts. She supports clients through every stage of a campaign, from campaign strategy and audience creation to coalition engagement, event execution, and ongoing communications efforts. Her approach is grounded in collaboration, strong project management, and a clear understanding of how earned, organic, paid, and in-person activations reinforce one another when creating an impactful, surround-sound campaign.
Prior to joining FTP, Natalie served as a senior client strategist at Engage, where she advised clients on digital advocacy and issue-based campaigns. She also worked as an account manager for a fundraising firm serving nonprofits, political candidates, and PACs, and earlier in her career worked at the Republican National Committee, where she developed a strong foundation in data analytics, audience creation, and political campaign strategy. These experiences shaped her client-first approach to campaign management and her ability to translate big-picture goals into organized, actionable programs.
Natalie holds an M.S. in Applied Economics (STEM) from Johns Hopkins University and a B.S. in Commerce and Business Administration, with a double major in Economics and Political Science, from the University of Alabama. Based in Washington, DC, she brings a collaborative, detail-oriented approach to helping clients execute complex public affairs work effectively.
Michelle Baker is a partner and leads FTP’s public affairs practice. She counsels senior corporate, association, philanthropic and nonprofit stakeholders on high-stakes policy, reputation and advocacy challenges. She brings a wide-angle view of today’s complex policy and communications environment and designs integrated initiatives that move opinion, influence decision makers and deliver results.
Michelle leads major campaigns across healthcare, education, food and agriculture, defense, technology and other highly regulated sectors, with healthcare as a core focus throughout her career. Her experience spans health systems, biopharmaceutical companies, government agencies, payers, professional medical associations and nonprofits, as well as coalitions advancing work on heart disease, cancer, pharmaceutical safety, vaccinations, addiction and emerging public health threats.
She has held senior roles across leading firms, including serving as chief of staff at Ketchum, where she launched key new services for healthcare and corporate communications. Her public affairs leadership also includes running the health practice at Weber Shandwick/Powell Tate and serving in senior roles at Signal Group and Chandler Chicco Agency/Syneos Communications.
An advocate for family caregiving and memory care, Michelle serves as chair of the Board of Trustees of Arts for the Aging (AFTA), the board of the Wendt Center, and previously served for ten years on the board of the Caregivers Action Network (CAN).
