Natalie Bauman

Natalie is a senior director in the public affairs practice where she helps clients build and execute integrated public affairs strategies that connect policy, communications, and advocacy. Her work spans campaign management, audience strategy, coalition management, stakeholder coordination, and event planning, with a focus on helping clients reach policymakers and influential Beltway audiences through coordinated, high-impact programs.

At FTP, Natalie works across teams to design and manage initiatives that pair an audience-first strategy with advocacy efforts. She supports clients through every stage of a campaign, from campaign strategy and audience creation to coalition engagement, event execution, and ongoing communications efforts. Her approach is grounded in collaboration, strong project management, and a clear understanding of how earned, organic, paid, and in-person activations reinforce one another when creating an impactful, surround-sound campaign.

Prior to joining FTP, Natalie served as a senior client strategist at Engage, where she advised clients on digital advocacy and issue-based campaigns. She also worked as an account manager for a fundraising firm serving nonprofits, political candidates, and PACs, and earlier in her career worked at the Republican National Committee, where she developed a strong foundation in data analytics, audience creation, and political campaign strategy. These experiences shaped her client-first approach to campaign management and her ability to translate big-picture goals into organized, actionable programs.

Natalie holds an M.S. in Applied Economics (STEM) from Johns Hopkins University and a B.S. in Commerce and Business Administration, with a double major in Economics and Political Science, from the University of Alabama. Based in Washington, DC, she brings a collaborative, detail-oriented approach to helping clients execute complex public affairs work effectively.
