Nick Jativa
Senior Director
Nick Jativa is a Senior Director on the Federal Government Relations team at FTP.
Prior to joining FTP, Nick served as a Legislative Assistant in the Washington, DC office of Congressman Neal Dunn (FL-02), where he advised the Member on legislation across telecommunications, commerce, manufacturing, and trade. He drafted remarks and staffed the Congressman for Energy & Commerce Committee activity, including hearings and markups for the Communications & Technology and Commerce, Manufacturing, and Trade Subcommittees, and contributed to the passage of the First Responder Network Authority Reauthorization Act. He served as the office’s primary point of contact for appropriations and community project funding requests across Florida’s 2nd Congressional District and led the Congressman’s work as Co-Chair of the Congressional STEM Education Caucus.
In his role, Nick analyzed and tracked legislation on the House floor, developed recommendations on votes and bill co-sponsorship, and represented the Congressman in meetings with constituents, stakeholders, and executive branch officials. He previously served as a Legislative Aide, managing a policy portfolio spanning appropriations, education and workforce, small business, and judiciary issues.
Prior to serving in Congressman Dunn’s office, Nick built his foundation on Capitol Hill through roles in several Florida congressional offices, gaining experience in federal policy and constituent services that he now applies to his work in government relations.
Nick holds a B.S. with Honors in Marketing and Management from Florida State University, where he graduated in 2024. He is fluent in English and Spanish.
